What We Offer
Our Services
Evidence-based assessments and therapies designed to unlock every learner's potential.
Psychoeducational Evaluations
Clarity that changes everything.
A psychoeducational evaluation is a comprehensive assessment that examines how a person thinks, learns, and processes information. Whether you're a parent seeking answers for your child, an adult navigating unexplained learning challenges, or an educator or other provider looking for guidance, our evaluations provide the clarity needed to move forward with confidence.
What We Assess
- Cognitive abilities and intellectual functioning
- Academic achievement
- Attention, executive functioning, and working memory
- Language processing and phonological awareness
- Social-emotional and behavioral functioning
- Learning disabilities (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia)
- ADHD and attention-related concerns
- Giftedness and twice-exceptional profiles
Our Process
- 1
Initial Consultation
We begin with a thorough intake to better understand your concerns, history, and goals. This is usually via Telehealth. It will include background information and initial screening questionnaires to help define your needs.
- 2
Comprehensive Testing
Standardized assessments are administered across multiple sessions in a comfortable, supportive environment. We utilize a differential diagnostic process to help stakeholders better understand the outcome. In most cases a qEEG is included as part of the evaluation with follow up options for future progress monitoring. This may be more than one session and in some cases may include an observation in a different setting. This is personalized based on the individual needs of our client.
- 3
Feedback Session
We walk you through findings in plain language and answer every question you have. We will discuss follow-up options, recommendations for other providers/teachers/homeschool mentors/coaches if they are involved.
- 4
Written Report
A detailed, actionable report with specific recommendations for school, home, and therapy.
Who Benefits
Psychoeducational evaluations benefit children, teens, and adults of all ages — from early childhood through adulthood. They are especially valuable when a learner is struggling developmentally or academically, seeking accommodations, or when parents and educators need a clearer picture of how to best support our client.
qEEG Brain Mapping
See your brain. Understand your potential.
Quantitative EEG (qEEG) brain mapping is a non-invasive, painless procedure that measures and maps the electrical activity of your brain. By comparing your brain's patterns to a normative database, we can identify areas of dysregulation that may be contributing to attention difficulties, learning challenges, anxiety, mood concerns, and much more.
What qEEG Reveals
- Brainwave patterns across all regions
- Areas of over- or under-activation
- Connectivity between brain regions
- Patterns associated with ADHD, anxiety, and learning differences
- Baseline data to guide neurofeedback protocols
- Progress monitoring over time
The Brain Mapping Process
- 1
Sensor Placement
A comfortable cap with sensors is placed on the scalp to record electrical signals — no needles, no discomfort. Placement of the cap takes ~ 5 to 10 minutes.
- 2
Recording Session
Brain activity is recorded during eyes open and eyes closed samples, typically taking 10 minutes.
- 3
Data Analysis
Raw EEG data is processed and compared against age-matched normative databases.
- 4
Brain Map Report
A color-coded brain map is generated, visually showing areas of dysregulation.
- 5
Results Review
We review findings with you and use the map to design a personalized neurofeedback protocol. This can be done with the Psychoeducational report review meeting.
Who Benefits
qEEG brain mapping is beneficial for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of their brain's functioning — particularly those with ADHD, anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, traumatic brain injury, or those who want to optimize cognitive performance.
Functional Neurofeedback
Train your brain. Transform your life.
Functional neurofeedback is a non-invasive, drug-free form of brain training that teaches the brain to self-regulate more effectively. Using real-time feedback, the brain learns to shift out of dysregulated patterns and into healthier, more balanced states — improving focus, emotional regulation, sleep, learning, and overall cognitive performance.
What Neurofeedback Addresses
- Attention and focus (ADHD)
- Anxiety and stress regulation
- Learning and academic performance
- Emotional dysregulation and mood
- Sleep difficulties
- Traumatic brain injury recovery
- Peak performance and cognitive optimization
- Autism spectrum and sensory processing
How Neurofeedback Works
- 1
Protocol Design
Based on your qEEG results and goals, a personalized neurofeedback protocol is created. Depending on the needs, generally a plan will be for a total of 40 sessions with a brain map around week 20 and upon completion of the 40.
- 2
Sensor Setup
Small sensors are placed on the scalp to monitor brainwave activity in real time.
- 3
Training Session
You watch a screen or listen to audio that responds to your brainwaves — rewarding healthy patterns. Think of this as a personal training session for your brain. The initial training session is in office with all other sessions at home. The home unit requires a fully refundable deposit on the equipment which is returned upon completion of the sessions.
- 4
Gradual Progress
Over a series of sessions, the brain learns to maintain healthier patterns independently.
- 5
Ongoing Monitoring
Progress is tracked and protocols are adjusted to ensure optimal results.
Who Benefits
Neurofeedback is effective for children, teens, and adults. It is particularly well-suited for those who prefer a non-medication approach, have not responded fully to other treatments, or want to optimize their cognitive and emotional performance. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) acknowledges neurofeedback as a non-pharmacological treatment to help improve attention and reduce hyperactive-impulsive behaviors.
